Center City Protest
A protest through the streets of center city Philly provided a nice little distraction during my class. Even grabbed a quick snapshot of it too.

Its a lovely neighborhood.
Well its sorta a nice looking neighborhood around my campus…in the pretty fading light anyways. Its got character !

Last Payphone Standing
It worked last semester but I guess Temple is done with payphones. Don’t think anyone’s gonna try and use this one.

Night Train Home

The parking lot at the train station after dark is actually kinda peaceful.
First day of last semester.
I catch the train into Philly every morning and I’m gonna have an hour before my first class starts everyday. Guess what I’m gonna do?!

Yup, take pictures!
Photo of the day – W. Penn reflection
OK, OK, I know I’ve been taking a whole lot of pictures outside of my class in center city lately. The truth is, it hard to find a time in your day to just stop everything and loose yourself in the world of photography. I’m barely a week into my photo a day experiment and I’m finding it can definitely be tricky at times. It is really nice though to go back to the same spot over the corse of a few consecutive days and see what catches your eye on that day and then to look at the photos later and think, why? Lots still to learn, I’m liking this project!

This one is my favorite of the past few from this spot. I think I'll continue photographing Mr. Penn up there as a separate project.
