No car = walk home from the train station.
OK my car seems to be dead for the time being. Still hoping I can resurrect it and squeeze a few more months of life out of it. In the mean time, it means I will have to make the occasional long walk when I can’t find a ride. Luckily this day was a really nice one.

Night Train Home

The parking lot at the train station after dark is actually kinda peaceful.
Practicing some long exposure shots at the park.

Just in case you're unsure, thats a car driving down a road through a field at dusk.
Photo of the day – First Post!
I just want to give you a quick little back story for my first post. I had a crazy busy day with work and school and I really just wanted to pass out when I got hope but I promised myself that I was going to start my photo of the day project that day. I looked outside, there was a big beautiful full moon, so I grabbed my camera and tripod and headed out.
I drove around for a while and while I was at a red light, a huge truck was flying through the light about to go across a small but very long bridge that it didn’t have a chance of fitting on to. I was watching in shock thinking, this guys going for a swim! At the last second a lady ran from the booth at the front of the bridge, arms flailing wildly and screaming at the top of her lungs for him to stop. Luckily he got the message and did just in time. As he was getting yelled at by the lady he decided to back his truck up to turn around but hit the car behind him! So, naturally, I grabbed my camera and shot away. Huh, maybe this photo a day thing won’t be so hard after all?
Later I got some long exposure shots on the bridge that was almost demolished by the careless trucker. It was fun but I kept looking to the other side of the river and realized that it was Trenton. (only one of the highest murder rates in the country) I kinda thought at that moment that standing on a lonely bridge in Trenton at midnight wasn’t really the best of ideas. Well I finished up shortly afterward and didn’t even see any bodies float by below me. I had enough excitement for my first photo day. Time for some sleep.

That was one dumb/lucky trucker.
