I love slide-shows.
I know I must be the modern day equivalent of that old guy from the 70’s who would somehow trick his neighbors into sitting down and watching slides from his most recent trip to wherever. Corney background music playing and a cheesy commentary and all. Still, I can’t help myself. I love slideshows! So many of our pictures never leave our computer, facebook maybe, if we’re lucky. We work hard creating our images and we need to show them off properly so we won’t forget all the good times. There’s something about the flow of a slideshow along with a well thought out soundtrack and smooth transitions that bring your images to life. What better way to keep the memories alive? —> Enjoy the video, its a long one. Or don’t, hey I don’t care, I made this as much for me as I did for you guys. Besides, I don’t won’t to be accused of becoming that old vacation slideshow guy from the 70’s.

SORRY for the break! + Some cool holga images from MT.
Hey, sorry about the break in my photo of the day posts. I got back from MT and jumped right into my last semester at school plus work, crossfit, and a bunch more stuff I’ve been needing to get done. So Snapadia had to take a back seat for a little while but its back now! Here are some holga images I’ve been meaning to get up for a while now. I used 35mm slide film in my medium format plastic holga. (ie: small film in a bigger camera, thats why the image went across the entire film strip and not just between the sprocket holes on the sides of the film) Oh, and thanks to the holga being notoriosly unreliable, it popped open at one point while me and Thomas were enjoying some TDS burritos so a few of the photos were burned out a bit. But the rest turned out pretty cool. Enjoy!

RMSP 08 reunion bar-b-que.
Its funny how when you get a bunch of photographers together for a party either no one has a camera or those that do barely bother to take any. This is one of the few I did snap off so you all get the pleasure of being graced with Josh and his pretty gnarly skating blistered foot. Enjoy!

Allison teaching us some whaa wha wa.
Loved the class and learned a lot. Allison is a great teacher. Hopefully I’ll get there some day.

Last photo shoot for RMSP for a while.
Well I jut got done my last photo shoot from my editorial photography class. I came out here to meet up with some old friends, learn some more photography, and ahve a lot of fun and I think I’ve done a pretty damn good job. I’m pretty exhauseted and glad to be done with the crazy hectic schedule that come with class out here but leaving MT is always gonna be bitter sweet for me, and I think it’ll be even harder this year. But I’m almost done University and then I get to do photography for real so I’ve got plenty to look forward to. OK, I’m not leaving yet so I’m off to grab a beer and enjoy my last few days!
The theme was celebrity shoot. I had an author of a new book called 'Waiting for Love" and was set in a diner. This was my take on it. Not my favorite shoot but not bad considering I came up with it on my bike ride there!

Funky Boutique Photoshoot.
We had to do a photoshoot similar to the kind you would see in “People” magazine. Our backstory was to shoot the owner of a local hipster boutique that has become famous because celebrities have begun to shop there. (Yea, its all made up but you get the idea) It was pretty fun but a lot harder than I thought it would be. Hope ya all enjoy the shots!
